Calling all Bach lovers! Join us for all three of the workshops in our series exploring the rich tapestry of choruses, chorales and select solo movements from J.S. Bach’s Weinachtsoratorium (Christmas Oratorio).
With Scott Inglis-Kidger’s dynamic approach and deep passion for Baroque repertoire, we will immerse ourselves in the intricate beauty, emotional depth, and spiritual resonance offered by this masterwork. Over the three workshops we will cover highlights from all six parts of the Oratorio, with special attention given to vocal technique, blend, and performance practice. In a unique twist, participants will also sing selected solo movements tutti (according to voice parts), offering the rare chance to experience sections not usually performed by a full choir.
Whether you're a seasoned Platinum Bach Club singer or new to this genius music, these workshops will allow you to develop your skills, connect with fellow singers, and experience the joy and brilliance of Bach’s music in a supportive and inspiring environment.
