Brahms unaccompanied choral music unites ancient and 'modern' in its use of Bachian chorales and fugues, polyphonic passages influenced by composers such as Schütz, and an unmistakably Romantic palette of harmony.

KODÁLY MISSA BREVIS

A rare opportunity to sing this wonderful mass for choir and organ by Zoltan Kodály. Although this mass is influenced by Hungarian folksongs and dances, it was actually premièred in 1948 at the Three Choirs Festival in Worcester.
