A testimonial from Rebecca

"I have been involved with the Platinum Choristers since they began in 2020, and it has been so exciting to see them go from strength to strength. I became involved because both of my sons were Choristers, and absolutely loved the choir. I am the Chorister Coordinator and Chaperone, so am present at all rehearsals and performances. I love seeing the behind-the-scenes side of Chorister life. From arranging and liaising with venues, to managing the Chorister uniforms, to making sure that 20-odd Choristers arrive at the right venue, at the right time, with robes and music, to the coordinating of the all-important termly Chorister Tea.

It has been a privilege to sit in on rehearsals, and see how enthusiastically the Choristers engage. Both Scott and Hilary have a nurturing, supportive and fun teaching style, and weave musical history and theory through the lessons. The rehearsals are always uplifting and fun. All of this culminates in the wonderful performances that the Choristers have been part of, including Evensong at Southwark Cathedral. An absolute highlight of the year is Handel's
Messiah at St John's Smith Square each November, where the Choristers perform with adult professional singers and an ensemble of Baroque musicians – a truly vibrant performance."
