CHORAL EVENSONG
Sunday 13th March 2022 at 6pm All Saints Church, Tooting Brudenell Road, London SW17 8DQ Join Platinum Consort and Choristers for a reflective Lenten service of Choral Evensong, sung in the stunning surroundings of All Saints Church in Tooting. Evensong provides an opportunity to stop in this modern and frantic world, and take stock of the day that has past. Described by the poet John Betjeman as "The Cathedral of South London", All Saints Church was consecrated at the turn of the 20th Century, but built in a 14th Century style, with original choir stalls and a stunning altar piece imported from Europe. Having an exquisite acoustic, the church has been used for professional recording by many big names: Daniel Barenboim, LSO and Platinum Consort, to name but a few.
