CHORAL WORKSHOPS 2013
PERFECT PLAYLIST
ANOTHER YEAR OF SUBLIME CHORAL MUSIC
Welcome to our 2013 Choral Workshops. Our Perfect Playlist will give choral singers the chance to sing glorious music in smaller groups with expert direction and vocal coaching by Scott Inglis-Kidger and Ghislaine Morgan. Over the year we will explore some of the most sublime works composed by the masters of their eras from the Renaissance to the present day.
We continue the series on 9th March with Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem; a wonderful opportunity to sing Brahms' alternative arrangement - for choir and 4 hands at the piano - of the beautiful Requiem, written following the death of his mother in 1865. We will be singing the piece in its original German. |
