A rare opportunity to experience singing this colossal 40-part work, which is said to have been written for the 40th birthday of Queen Elizabeth I. Interest in Spem in Alium has gone through the roof since the success of E. L. James Fifty Shades of Grey. Just so you have an idea of how big this is, we need a minimum of 32 basses and 16 tenors just to get started!
